Dont really have a specific budget. Not olanning on keeping it stock, prob looking for just over 200kw.

I am thinking of the SR route now, will be coming to SA pretty soon. Going to try looking for a SR. Are there any places that you guys would recommend?

And with the ARP Bolts & Studs, which kit should i look for? I have seen a 202-4702 and a 202-4302, whats the difference? And is there a bolt kit for the conrods?

What is the standard bore & stroke and compression ratio for the ca18det?
I have read in the manual that it's 83.0 * 83.6 and 8:5

With great difficulty, jokes. Which way did you go up? Through Nata and Kasane? I know that road is terrible. Up my side the roads are not to bad at all, well most of them.

Is there any means of finding out if you need a 4 port or an 8 port gasket before pulling the head off?

That turbo has definatly seen better days. Going to try stick to good quality well known name brand products. Thought abot that, but an SR20 conversion is not the cheapest thing to drop in. I have seen a complete drop in with harness, ecu and gear box for R60 000. I only paid 15 000 for the car.

Pretty much boosting a reasonable amount of crap out of it. And doing the radiator hoses.

wanted to do the pistons, rods and rings. what are good products to keep an eye out for? Seen a couple of sets for just under $1000 on eBay.
