Has anyone fitted an aftermarket pickup in the nissan cas ? The neo one seems to have fried itself. The standard one tends to break down at operating temp. When using spitronics internal pullup she worked perfect then the optic died.

So in the last 2 weeks we have received some incomplete or half cars to map. If you make an appointment to map your car please at least check the following. Got a luck today. One of the guys had a new manifold made so bought his old one. It is in good condition so i am saving time. I wasnt looking forward to building the collector for the manifold.

various options if possible. Will have to do both engines, not at the same time though.

Remember to whatch wiring to cas as interference can cause a misfire especially on this setup. The positive to the cas must not be teed into injector or coil wires. I sometimes run a 12v home alarm battery to remove intereference from system if battery is moved to the boot.

Most of us can map any ecu. The problem is you need to understand the limits of you current components and whatyour needs are versus budget. Dictator is very stable and spitronics is very smooth. Most sx i have mapped had heating issues before we even started. If you have a strong fan between fmic and rad the mapping goes quick. We use strong fans but fmic disrupts air flow. I have arias pistons, h beam rods, watermeth kit and spare apexi already. Next to decide on tomei oilpump or drysump? Hopefully some cash will come in and i can order cams, springs, retainers and followers.
