I especially took care of not over tightnig the belt.

The pump I took of is good. Bearing and seal is fine. Just some scuffing of the impeller.

Well I will make a plan to sort it out in any case.

Or is it possible that the shift moved? Thus causing the impeller to grind against the block.

So I have pics of the one comming of and a replacement... But I checked the replacement pump and looks like it will hit the block. But when I fitted the one comming of no weird noises came from it and did not hit the block. Also the pump comming of seems to be ok bearing and seal. Why did it start t...

Last time I fitted a gmb replacement from middas the pump disintegrated and messed up the waterpump pulley. Bearings and seals where fine upon inspection.

Yes was thinking the same thing Draco.

I made sure not to over tighten the belt.

But which electric fan to use?
