Wastegate is properly closed with some tension on the actuator keeping it shut. it came to me as a shock when I drove it today and there was no power. verry dissapointed after all the labour....

It looks as though it will work fine. Should have much more lag than standard. at what rpm do you reach full boost? I suspect it has a .5 bar actuator. You should look at getting a boost controller, a manual bleed valve should work fine. It kicks in very very late, at about 5000rpm it starts to gai...

Hi Guys, Has antyone managed to check the pic on facebook of the new vs old turbo ? I have fitted the turbo - I have lag and it only boosts 0.5 at peak revs ????
I will let it cool down and adjust the actuator and see what happens.

You will only have to dyno it if your run different boost. I ran a T28 on a CA at standard boost for a while before I could fit a stage 2 map and supporting mods. Apparently the GT28 is bigger than the T28, Some even said I will have to put in bigger injectors. I want to run 0.7 / 0.8 bar boost. I ...

I have Started to fit the GT28.......very close fit indeed, the compresion housing is so much bigger! it clears the exhaust manifold by 1 or 2MM's
I will have to modify the acuator mounting bracket as well. not as easy as it seemed. still woried about lag...

i have the T28 on at stock boost, and it feels perfect to me,, the boost comes in early already. For daily the T28 seems to be to be a good choice.
