R3500 small price to pay... me thinks My exhaust including downpipe, knuckle at turbo backbox, exhaust flex cost R900 (back box) + 750 (75mm) + 550 (Flex). Your option looks good and won't give hassles as its made for the car. Where a custom system will give hassles until all problems have been sort...

The second gauge is in the fuel delivery line to the fuel rail. How do I go about removing the original FPR, as it looks like it forms part of the fuel rail? How many connections would there be on the the aftermarket FPR? I have one fuel line going in and one going out of the FPR The only other conn...

Fuel pressure regulator on fuel rail and new FPR

Hi everyone I installed a "7 bar" in tank fuel pump last year in my 200sx during building the car. Suffering from surging, I decided to install a autogauge fuel pressure regulator and replace all fuel hoses. I left the original fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. The car still seems ...

I think I have spent between R80k to R90k (in one year) - I intended on spending R50k - See how wrong you can be. The problem is its not the big items, but rather the add ons that start adding up. After visiting this site I now think my sx is 70% complete, where before I was content it being almost ...

Read up about the cometic gasket - seems that they are a couple of thin layers of metal pressed together, or synthetic materials. Is there no risk that the head gasket won't blow when something goes wrong and I end up hurting something else more expesive? I am also replacing the pistons with forged ...

And yes I am being a bit lazy, but also don't want to phone and tell someone I am looking for a gasket for a nissan 200sx s13 and get the reply huh, is that a sentra?, or sounds like an uno, and then quote the engine CA18DET and be referred to the agents, who also don't know any of ...

Head gasket

Hi all.

What would you guys recommend as a good head gasket. I don't want to buy a metal gasket. Will Payen gaskets be good enough if boost won't exceed 1.5bar?

Howzit Jap Spec and all other 200sx worshippers...I see they have similar body kits at https://secure.jkautospares.co.uk/product.php?product_id=2003 for GBP434.75. I don't know much about the import costs on this and the shipping/freight. At GBP434.75 if I ordered today the ZAR equivalent before abo...

Nice figures.

Maybe go for a smaller frame exhaust housing. I'm one to talk, but have same problem on my S13. Slow off the line unless you build up boost in the gates. Can't do this the whole day, no matter how good it feels.
