AWSOME, AWESOME time was had !! We met up with Mical and Brendan in Balito and headed inland. Great bit of road behind Brendans place and we gave it horns.
Cops were out and made "handcuff" gestures but we were through...Afternoon snack at ...uhm...uhmmmm....some boat place and then popped around to Brends home and met Mrs Brendan. And the cat and dog..cheers for the hospitality guys, appreciated ...and then we were off back South again.
Thanks Mical and Brendan, great stuff guys..
Hit the Oribi Gorge road outside Port Shepstone a few times as well.. Brilliant twisties and serious speeds ! What a piece of road though. Got the S14 stepping out at the back nicely while Johns Celica simply planted itself and went !
All in, magic time and good friends to share it with.
et up with Mike and Patrick in Uvongo as well. Sorry we missed SF and RB in Margate, we only got the messages now at home in Jhb. !!
Awesome GTr Patrick ! Sounded the dog danglies when you pulled off hey ! Pity Powder could not redeem himself when he tried desperately to leave tyres marks behind when he pulled off...next time boet, next time..LOL !
Traffic home was rather serious and we took it real easy..lot of traffice out and a pain but all is good.
Picked up a real bad "clunk" from the left front wheel on the way so need to check that all out tomorrow..
Cheers John, thanks for coming along, was great !!
Mical, thanks for the impromptu diff oil check and fill bud...and of course the tool, cheers.

Was a awesome time and nice to meet the guys, pity we didnt see the messages from SF.
I loved the runs in Balito and Oribi Gorge, we landed up doing that Oribi Gorge road a couple of times, managed to loose some car parts along the road somewhere, 4 of the 5 bolts holding the downpipe to the turbo (Had a new Downpipe and manifold fitted just before the trip so the new bonnet would fit) got that mostly fixed up but still got some leaks somewhere. Lost a headlight trim peace, we found it again but in many little pieces so will be removing one from the spare parts car.
Was an awesome break, I need to find a local road like the Oribi Gorge one. Such a lovely twisty road.
Brendan & Mical thanks for the everything. Brendan lead us on the run in Balito and I assumed he knew the road so floored it only to find out afterwards that he didn't know it LOL.
Patrick, nice car you have there. Mike loved the induction sounds your car made while trying to move forward
Will definitely be doing this again. Thanks Barry
