Chuck the CA now!
Rather go SR while the CA is out.
Don't waste money on the CA.
How many drifters that actually drift use a CA?

Uhm, I'm not. I'm making use of what I can now and doing the best I can with the opportunities given to me.

I have to agree with the other boys too... You can get an SR for about 6k... now I know it is a LOT but it is a drop in and instantly more power (well considering you goto get it running etc). Especially if it is a good nice nick motor it can take you quite far... That said you must weigh out the options. Getting the CA running if look at what you've said here is possibly gonna cost you about 3k to get running nicely. getting a SR and getting it running is going to cost about 10k if you do it as cheap as possible...
End of the day - your car - your money.
I'd also get the SR though and strip it, check it, build it, fit it,drift it but if you can get it running on the ca in the meantime then cool.

Well that depends... you'd need a flywheel and clutch if it is an auto, bellhousing I think is different, management, getting all your guages working, boost pipes etc etc. - could be quite priceysmoothedgp wrote:Agreed but it cant be such a heavy expense going sr can it?

Ok so I been a bit sick this past week with the flu so here is a slight update:
ok so a random shot, SX key vs Swift key! Times have changed lol!
ok so took out the motor and stripped it, don't need to go into much detail with this motor as I have bought a new CA as it would have cost me more to fix it, so basically it has become spare parts:
Took out the dash to remove some more unwanted stuff such as more sound deadening, heater box etc etc etc
Engine bay needs a clean! soon to be tackled with!
Wheel well was cut out, will be making the section flush and install a fuel cell.
What she looks like now, cleaned most of the glue off from the sound deadening, didn't quite come out the way I wanna so she's currently soaking in diesel, and everything that was behind the dash is basically out:
Should be getting the other motor, box and new turbo this week!
