Why do you want a clear one?

If you gonna fit verniers then you can just cut holes in the cover to match the sprockets of the cam gears so you can adjust without removing the cover. + it would look nicer IMHO.

Clear cam covers look cool. If I can get one then I will import a set of pretty verniers pullies.
just cut holes in the cover

its aluminuim or some form of similar alloy!

mine were sanded down until shiny smooth and then polished.

i reckon they can be anodised no problem!

Well I have sent stuff for anodising and it is sometimes cheaper than powder coat. You see powdercoating is charged per area and electroplating is done per weight, dont ask me why it is done per weight but it is. I will find a price today for the anodising.

yeah that is strange, because its a dipping process.

they should charge per surface area!

Thats it. Even galvanising is charged per weight and that is dipping aswell.

i guess its much easier to weigh something than to calculate or even guestimate somethings surface area!
