Ok so flushed out my cooling system today. Managed to bring down temp from 95 to 85. Still not ideal so shopping round for a new radiator and duel fan setup. Viscous van suck my left one! Going to braai with your arse this weekend.

jip sounds like you going to need serious cooling anyway considering you are going all out on this beast. Mishimoto and some electrics should do it.

Car is so awesome and such nice nick for an "older" vehicle... the blistered arches sexy a$$ and those angular lines just begging for slap on the backside sorry drooooooling again...

I would stick with the viscous if it's still o k, just add some electrics for backup.

So a update....

Got a 3 core 70mm radiator, bought two decent vans and she runs at 76 normal drive and 85 after a bit of fun. Very happy now. Also moved the batt to the boot and stripped off the valve covers and intake and applied some fresh paint. Also drained every single drop of fluid and replaced with new and serviced.

Sold the wheels I had and replaced with a set of R33 oem ones. Saving up for work XD9's so donations welcome.

Having a lot of fun with this car but some few issues need to be done.

1. Sort out paint with Barry there are a few spots I'm not happy with, nothing hectic tho net my gat wat itch.
2. Cover the dash and redo the interior
3. Need some carbon bits I.e bonnet,intercooler seround,jun style front lip,replacement front duckts, bonnet lip, grill and do a full rear wing in carbon( oem style)
4. Oil pump after the pic Andre sent me I see no point keeping the stock one.


I want to rebuild the motor over December so I need a whole cart if groceries. But I'm happy with the way she runs for now.

So been a while, with change of jobs, husband duties and life in general I have been away a bit and didn't do much really to the car.

So I started doing some work, again.

Mods are as follows, oil pump gear set and recon. Cometic head gasket, arp bolts, new intake plenum, 100mm single throttle(yes taken out the itb's), 1000cc RC injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump, fuel regulator, big intercooler, 60mm waste gate, 50mm dumpvalve, single custom built stainless manifold, GT 35/82R, snow performance water/meth kit, triple plate clutch,new down pipe hmmmm that's all I remember rite now.... Oh also bought a set of D1R ET20 10J in each corner,with Bridgestone RE semi's 265/35/18. Also got some aluminum sheet for a slam tray cooling panel I'm making. Removing the aircon as well due to heat issues.( windows work just fine)

Not chasing huge power just a bit more than I had.

Parts I need to get while the motor is out.....
Oil cooler and relocating kit.
Oil drain kit
Software to tune the Apexi....
Some aluminum( making new pulleys)
Heat wrap
Turbo blanket
