Then we have a no fuzz, non complex drag racing ladder system:
You need to challenge the member on top of your name and win to proceed climbing on the ladder to the next upper position.
We just race. Nothing smart. Just organise, race and send the results. Own risk
You dial *120*444*2000# for instant interactive information on our Nissan 200sx Owners Club. Please refer to our website for information on cell phone instructions.[/img]

Nooo nooo nono.... It works like this: Phinx has to beat me to challenge Draco. If he does he is then second. You need to challenge the okie on top of you. Your drag with Jay Boy is out of line No complex situations. As easy as that. Say I beat Phinx, then phinxie in 3rd place. So we built the ladder. You got to enter the ladder. The two who race must let know the results If Phinxie beats me, he can challenge Draco on top. You got it??? Then I will be in 3rd place and the next okie to enter the ladder must challenge the 3rd place first.hmmm...

ok that post is difficult to decipher, but i get that you have to challenge someone already in the ladder, in order to get yourself in. no matter if you win or lose, you still get a listing.
so currently its:
1.TIET
2.chemcool
3.phinx
that right?

snakes and ladders and boooost
How dare you! This was my idea! I know I didn't communicate it but I would've, eventually, I think!
We should draw up some rules/guidelines in anticipation of things to come, I used to run a sports club, ok well not everyone thinks chess is a sport but it is competitive 1-on-1 so the same kind of things would matter. I'll share some forts (as in i fort i saw a gti):
For the most part I know you guys are actually well behaved (excluding chemcool, he is from pta & it is ROUGH there, check their ruggas team). So we can just go on taking things as it comes but here is what I think:
For various reasons, just being able to challenge within 1 step of your current location on the ladder is going to be problematic. For one, availiblity. Once someone has reached a certain spot, they might not be available to challenge. This would prevent anyone from moving higher. Availability of the 200sx/driver, couch potato syndrome, queues, rain, it all means it is difficult to ensure challenges are arranged and kept if the only person you can 'officially' race is 1 up or 1 down. The more people that are on the ladder, the more difficult it could be to progress if you are only allowed 1-up challenges. When a new boxer comes into the ring they most certainly do not expect him to beat up each and every boxer to eventually get a title.
In some games, they have a slightly more complicated system of, 1-up challenges in the top 10 [or 5 or 3], but all the others can be within 3 steps of your rank.
Maybe we should have a few weeks worth of racing to make up a tournament to work out the initial ladder. For this kind of thing, about 8 people would require 3 rounds
Thanks for creating this sub-forum, now lets get some dates on races!!!
And where is the ladder, btw?!

I think who you race should be dependant on your mods. For example there would be no point in me racing Chemcool (no offence) because I have far more mods and it would a walkover. So if I for say wanted to challenge the top guy the rest of the guys on the ladder must agree to it.
What if a guy messes up the race by missing a gear or something (I do that V often) surely he should be alowed a re-race??
