So we got loads of work done yesterday! Spend about 7 hours stripping the to the point where it is ready for the rotiserie.

Motor is out, front and rear suspention is out. Doors are off, all windows out except the windscreen as that needs to be glass, so we will just leave it in.

Now its time for the bodywork to begin.....

Enjoy the pics!

Can anybody tell me where I can buy heat protective stuff?

Like turbo blanket (good quality)
Thermal sleeving for pipes and wires
Gold heat reflective tape

Would prefer local company if possible at all.

Company is called Bestobel. In Joburg but they everything you require. I normally buy Kevlar sheets for heat shielding. from them. Fire retardant sleeving as well...

A nice parcel arrived today!

Exhaust manifold - 3mm stainless steel, T4 bolt pattern, exeternal wastegate

We see its a twin scroll.....eish dont know why? Hope it doesnt effect the spooling to much as our turbo isnt a twinscroll.

Manifold is very well built and very solid!

Ofcourse we had to do a mock-up to see how it looks! :domo: And whom thought you could do a bottom mount with a GTX30!!!
