D, with that little setup, if you put a microphone in the pipe and connect to a laptop, there is software you can get to isolate frequencies.... You may be onto somthing good here... That then would give visual aid to spotting det

Bought a new mani yesterday, most probably won't flow as good as the s/s import but will be a hell of a lot easier to remove and put back.

It does Gary....and it will be a hell of a lot easier and faster to install and take off, the bends on the import are so close that you can hardly get an m10 nut in there and the only ones that will fit in there is the oem nissan nut that's almost as small as an m8 nut, a normal m10 nut has no chance, stud has to be shortened that results in maybe being able to tighten the nut 4 threads...that's after you struggled half an hour a piece to get it to catch.
