hi everyone, so the time has come for me to start my cars build thread. Finally!
ive had my sx for almost 6 months now, and in that time i decided what i wanted from my car and what i wanted my car to be. and there was only one engine that could satisfy. the poven and formidable RB25DET
skyline engine.
im basically going to be running a stock RB25DET with a few mods, namely:
FMIC-600x300x76
Alu Radiator 50mm core
Greddy (Freddy) style intake plenum
Exhaust
Dicktator wated spark
ACT 4 puck clutch
Apexi AVC-R electronic boost controller(have also got a Cometic multi layer steel head gasket. that is sitting as back up at the moment)
hopefully this will see my car with some good strong power figures
my sx is my dailly, so choosing what i wanted for my car was hard.
i decided on the RB25 for its sound, its ease to make good power and reliability. instead of getting a hi power modified SR20DET that would be expensive to keep reliable (own opinion) i decided to go RB which would make really good power in near stock form.
my car is currently at RB25sx's place where he will be doing the whole swop and build.
so guys keep an eye on this thread, wish me luck, and pics to follow shortly
