the stock seats are not really bucket seats. The cost to get seat rails for the bucket seats is quite a bit.

You would still have to make them fit and they are a biatch to get in and out of so for a regular ride ill suggest you have yours refurbished and covered in leather. Ive seen it done before and the leather looks great.

I've got two of these bucket seats in my SX (full black). the previous owner bought them and fitted it in, unfortunately fitting them was a problem and they were ultimately bolted straight to the chassis, which means I can only recline with them. also theyre quite wide so my passenger seat rubs against my pillar, but they are comfortable and provide support for high speed cornering.

Just enough space in the back for a cooler box... I would say recover the originals

I am totally against any chinese made seat that is so freely available here. Including ripp off Bride, Recaro, Cobra, Sparco etc.seats.

I would rather spend the money on a FIA approved race seat or at least , on the real deal. Genuine Brides are R15000.00 a pop, Recaro`s are about R8900.00 each. This excludes rails for the car.
Rails or runners for my car are R3800 .00 each !

Ripp off Brides and Recaros are sold here and abroad for about R5000.00 to R8000.00 each, depending where they come from.
They are distinguished from the real deal quite easily though.

My life is worth much more to me that a cheap inferior chinese ripp off .

If you cannot afford the real deal, recover the originals and be safe in the knowledge that in an accident you will have a very safe seat .
