Kit Idea

Post by Bryce »

Hey Guys!

I built the purple 200sx s14.5(purple haze) and one thing ive wanted to do since and have learnt is the more of one kit you order from a company, the cheaper the kit and the shipping as you all know!

We import Kits all the time as Creative Rides and the pic of the Origin Kit(Red one that daniel Posted) is very well priced and comes in three different styles.

If we get enough orders then we could come out with original pics at a very good price.

or

I also have a mate that im selling his kits for R10 000 and is a replica of a smooth JP Sports body kit! :D

I was getting all excited reading about the kits and then I read "R10 000"

Whats a rough estimate that a kit costs? Shurely R10 000 is for a very elaborate kit

Nope, R10 000 is for a decent set. Ur looking at about R2500 a piece for a 4 piece kit. Maybe u can get cheaper kits, but then its cheaper materials, like plastic or fibreglass.

i've seen the most horrible and flimsy kit on a yellow "car" (cant remember what it was for the life of me! ), but that thing was blowing in the wind and looked REALLY unstable as he was driving past. I betcha that is a road hazard. Altho overall the car looked very nice.

The kit I posted is 108,000 Yen thats R6750 ex postage + packing, but then its a decent FRP kit (Fiberglass reinforced plastic) not just fiberglass like some of the cheap kits that one get.

Remember our bumpers are made of polyurethane believe me I needed to cut mine to make the inter cooler fit. Just slapping on a plain fiberglass kit is not my first choice, first slight bump and it cracks. Where if you go FRP its strong yet flexible.

And you'll notice most of the top kit's out there are FRP go check GP-Sports, Veilside, ect.

I agree

Post by Bryce »

I agree that Poly is very strong but also very expensive! Very few well priced kits are made of it due to the costs! I worked out that the origin kit(Original) will land here at round R12 500 per person or if 2 kits maybe as low as R11 000 with duties, vat and shipping!

My chargespeed kit was AMAZING fitment but once again a quality kit with std s14 lights is R18 500 landed but in my opinion well woth it!

My mates kit is fiberglass but very very good fitment for a copy! Heres a pic!

do those arches come with the kit???

cos otherwise it doesn't look like it will fit lekka!!!

18 grand is double the price, but it doesnt seem that bad, if its much stronger, more flexible, wont crack, etc!!!

Hey guys. When I was bored looking for bodykits I came across thess ones:

and

these two go for 200 000 yen and can be found at http://www.bn-sports.co.jp

If you looking for kits with reasonably cheap prices prices look at http://www.autobahnmotorsports.com/aero ... %20COM.htm

The kits there range from $400 - $500. The only dad thing is they are made from fiber glass. The one I had in mind for me is Image
