Howzit

Long Time no update, I have just received the Tomei Cam's for Japan Total cost was R4900 landed here will be installing them next weekend when I come back from Holiday now I will finally have an exhaust cam with a half moon section

It doesn’t look like I will be receiving a replacement NIStune Board from Matt he wants me to try out a few things first so I will give it a go if it fails I will send the new board back as my old board never gave me a day of shit.

I’m now stuck between cross roads on my project; I’m torn between a number of Idea’s but the next planned modification is a GT3076-WG till I change my mind again, It’s now time to added a good turbo and some boost to the CA18 but I’m planning on buying a house at the end of the year so most of my spare cash will disappear, I will need to get R12K before then for the Turbo Set-up also If I go the huge turbo route I have just bought the wrong cam’s isn’t that my luck

Well I have finally Fitted my PonCam's and all I'm going to say if OMFG there is no drop off in the higher RPM Range it just keeps pulling till 7400RPM the turbo comes in earlier and spool is damn quick and I haven't even touched the tune so there is more power to be had.

I would recommend these Cams to anyone looking for a great upgrade they are well worth the 5 grand, There was only one catch my ignition timing is all the way to the left at 15 degress like I'm a tooth out on the cam timing but I have double checked the timing and all the marks are spot on so I don't know whats kooking there but it must just stay that way.

totally worth it! specially when you realise only after you put it back in, that you did something wrong and you have to remove it all again!

Howdy Guys...

Im really loving these smoked lights and Im planning on getting myself a set of black 15 inch rims from TSW but that will be next month

Image

But sadly the SX is still pissing oil but the rear seal has been replaced so now I have to track and trace the other leaks unless its that rear seal again.

I’m just happy it’s not the cometic head gasket, cam timing is still out a tooth that will be sorted this weekend

I had to stick my pride in my back pocket and again compliment you, your car looks good...you are doing a stand up job and that mags will look awesome!!!!

I am not sure if you looked for this or not....hope it may help you if you did not notice it before...if you did...ignore my advice....

I found a few times that the half moons on the back of the tappet cover were scew....pissing out oil that made it look like a main oil seal leak....
