Glad to see that we are one happy, gay, SX family.....
Back to the topic of Vlade's refurb....
Awesome stuff there boet, cannot wait till you upload more pics. I'd really want to respray my car sometime soon, but my bank balance just aint coming to the party.
Also for the amounts previously quoted, I think it's well worth it.
Keep up the good work and more importantly, keep us posted.

Ok update time
Worked hectically from Friday evening through till Sunday... we are 80% there much more work than I anticipated... I'm sanding in my sleep. Getting the surfaces smooth and flat is critical.
We made good progress till the hardner we purchased showed some signs of age, it turned to jelly, so we could not continue... NICE... REAL NICE...
Anyway... here is the pics...
The body is nearly done, need to patch one or two blemishes, just bonnet and bumpers then we are done.
I must say, when people quote you X amount to do a paint job, don't bitch and moan about price... till you see the amount of work that goes into a paint job, you'll regret bitching... its a SHIT LOAD of work, really... I'll gladly take engines in/out all day compared to this...
Any big up to Willie, he's doing a great job!
