The thickness of the fiber glass mat used is going to be different from company to company. I know of some companies that use three layers of fiber glass.widowmaker wrote:errm, im not saying that i dont agree, but i dont agree.
sure, in theory it should weigh around the same, BUT for CF you need three layers max, while with fibreglass you would need 5 or more layers and probably more support webbing to get the same rigidity - fibreglass flexes a lot more
