:D Thanks, yip block was decked and head was skimmed, I think this is the 4th skim this head has had... I did ask them to remove as little material as possibly needed...

Good News is engine is in, and I've done about 10Km now, but my Wolf 3D is giving me hassles, having a real hard time starting the car, it keeps on flooding or something, It started briefly this morning, wanted to go for a drive but it died in my driveway after that it wanted nothing.

Will post pics tomorrow.

Ok here follows my update...

Been damn busy on Saturday and Sunday working on cars, hopefully this week will be without any car issues want to catch up on my gaming, movies and series :D :D

Ok getting the head on was no easy task, like I'm use to, first off I run into the following problem...

Image

This is what happens if your head and block has been skimmed to many times.... so I fixed it by grinding a bit of the waterpump

Image

Block all ready and prepped...

ARP Bolts, its my first experience with this stuff, its not as easy as dropping in bolts and the head... you have to hand tighten the bolts first, then insert the washers into there location in the head, you can't add the washers once the head is in there is no space for the washers to go past the bolts... then you drop the head in, and if you are lucky not to get lube on the face of your head you can start the tightening process... was scary as shit, I've never torqued bolts with lube on them, it constantly felt like the shit was going to snap any moment, because it torques so easy... Normally it bites when dry, this just goes and goes and goes till you hear the "CLICK" of the torque wrench.

Engine all done

Motor ready to be dropped in...

I found it a bit harder dropping the motor in with the exhaust attached like that, my exhaust touched the ground long before the gearbox did... But at least it saved me that effort of trying to tighten the thing by the turbo...

I did about 10km with the car on Saturday night, had problems starting it after that, no clue what it can be at this stage it nearly does feel like the car is flooding but when I pull plugs they are dry dry dry, but the backfires indicated to me that there is unburned fuel in the exhaust...

I also installed my LS05 Lamba sensor (thanks Gary for info) works a charm at least I can keep an eye on my AFR, the car was about 10% richer than it needed to be, so I played with that adjusted it down...

I want to say thank to my buddy Danie in his absence for all his help, I didn't even ask, he just pitched up out of his own will and helped... Thanks man I owe you!

Got the bitch started... was a combination of things... Fuel and fuel pump relay not kicking in or so it seams, but it does start much better now, thanks Gary for the settings 30Km on the clock, gonna take it slower than last time, want to sort out the map first before I put on huge KM's...
