My SX
Hi Guys,
New member here. Just thought I'd upload some pics of my SX.
I got her like this about 2 years ago, The body is really nice and the interior even better, but the motor never made me feel confident.
I fitted a custom 76mm exhaust, made by a friend of mine. It's a full 76mm system apart from the
down pipe, as I'm still running the stock turbo. I daily drove it for about 8 months and had a weird fueling issue that took me about 4 months to sort out.
I finally figured it our and fixed it, then this happened,

Re: My SX
That caused this to happen,
A complete rebuild followed, with a few added improvements. This is a 80% done pic , I also added some gauges (not pictured is my AEM wideband on the A-pillar) Here's a competed engine bay pic as she stands now. I stared her last week and drove her in nice
and hard. Everything looks and feels great! Also fitted my new wheels that I've been keeping in my spare room
This is as she stands now,
I was ticked off, but I was planning on rebuilding the motor some time anyway, so I took it as a sign.A complete rebuild followed, with a few added improvements. wanneer kom kuier jy? ek het gewonder wanneer die kar gaan ry...
There are three easy ways of losing money - racing is the quickest, women the most pleasant, and owning an SX the most certain.

Re: My SX
Thanks for all the kind words, appreciate it.
@PAKIMONSTER: Ek sal n draai kom maak later die week of vroeg volgende week...dalk kry dit jou motivated om jou SX te resurrect
@troopiec: The wheels are 17x9 ET30. I'm running a 5mm spacer in front cause the rim to strut clearance was only like 3mm, so now
its about 8mm. I wasn't comfortable with only 3mm clearance. I'm also running 225/45 tires, so there's a little stretch.
@DriftZ: I'm gonna go a little lower in front, but only 10mm or so. I would love to go more and add some camber, but this is going to
be my daily driver again, so don't want to go crazy. I've got Koni adjustable shocks, but still stock type springs, so I'm planning on converting
the struts to be adjustable with coilover springs, then I can go up and down as I please...just need to have these shocks serviced...
I have a few small things left to do, then she'll be done for now. I'll drive her like that for a few weeks just to make sure everything is settled
and reliable...then it'll fit my 440cc injectors and RB25 MAF. After I've tuned that and all seems good, I'll fit my bigger turbo
Looking forward to all the mods planned, but most of all...after spending 7 months working on it...I just want to drive her!
