Projekto Streeto!

Otherwise called my 'Plan B' .. seeing as ive gone to far on the S13 / Frank. But i yearn for a proper Nissan to use as my everyday in comfort ( work - 90km round trip ).

Found it! .. its going to be a longterm slow project that i want to enjoy every step of the way. The S13 / Frank just became a One dimensional monster to quickly... this will be the subtle sexy Yang to Franks brutish Ying :P - Yay Air conditioning yay car radio yay sound deadning yay reclining seats yay back seats lol .....

Just to answer any Questions.. yes it is legal, which took a stressful couple of weeks to find out.

Gave her a wash this weekend.. dam she's sexy... will post pix later.

ha ha.. thanks guys.. hope I haven't raised your hopes to high ... anyway without further ado...

She's a Silvia S15.. ofcourse, Queen of the S chassis :P
1999 Silvia Spec S
Auto - yes its kak - I will have to amend this soon as possible ( so far I have a 5 speed box and clutch + ive ordered pedals n bits off ebay and apparently its an easy swop )
NA SR20DE - this part I actually wanted ( not that I had much choice ) .. another benefit is this thing is very frugal on petrol which makes me happy .. don't need 3x guzlers in the family, but maybe one day it will grow a turbo... never say never.

My primary goal is to restore it and to focus on suspension / wheels as it is essentially a cruiser and I want this car to look stock and be as comfortable as possible...
restoration wise - I just need to fix one or two small issues that the previous owner neglected and he reversed into a bush in his garden so the boot lid isn't perfect but already after a wash its looking a lot happier.

otherwise.. everything works.. everything! it awesome. The door sills still had the factory protective plastic .. which I tore off like it was Xmas :D

Best part is the drive, chassis is definitely a lot stiffer than the S13 and even with the small OEM mags and high profile tyres the thing is awesome to drive. very nimble and responsive ... love it

And now I finally know what S stands for in Spec-S ... "Straight!" - the chassis tubes are in such perfect condition its amazing, obviously another benefit of buying a NA / Auto ... no previous owner abuse. And tbh im not going to abuse it either.. atleast for long time / until im out of the massive debt hole ive dug ... ha ha.

Anyway herewith the good part ... pix :)

sweet looks brand new

delete the rear emblems as they are in the wrong spot.

when doing manual conversion
flywheel s13/14 sr20det with det clutch (de has slightly smaler clutch and fly)
MT 5 speed gearbox bolts
MT 5 speed flywheel bolts
clutch plate bolts
s14 clutch and brake pedals fit spot on
you can even use s13 clutch pedal but need the spacer thing that is welded onto the s13 fire wall.
s14 interior rubber boot things that keep heat out fit perfect
S14 drive shaft front half if non abs or full abs drive shaft (or new custon one piece)

note there is no english fsm for JDM S15
ADM SPEC S is same as SPEC R (sr20det)

you need to wire neutral switch as vtc does not work if not conected.
do not remove ecu thing where clutch pedal mounts it controlls auto windows and stuff.
to finish it off MT ecu to get idle to be correct and happy cold starts
