Thanks :D

Ok .. so im slowly fitting the Manual conversion parts... not the serious bits just yet obviously as I want to still use the car daily, so im starting with just the pedal assemblies etc ... but id like to wrap up the MT conversion part hunt.

Currently im outstanding the Manual SR20DE ECU... anyone know if a slightly earlier ( OEM ) S14 DE ECU will work? Because I found one on ebay ( including loom ) but they advertise the Compatibility years as ... up to 1998 only. ( remember this is the NA / DE motor .. non turbo )

The auto ECU keeps the car running while sitting in D / Drive and idling ( compensates with revs ) ... also i believe its got a alot less agressive tune going into gears. Plus overdrive etc.

started fitting Clutch pedal untill i found the Gearbox itself even has an ECU .. lol.. and its mounted right where the Clutch pedal is supposed to go .. ha ha

had some time to kill.. so cleaned MAF.. and made a cold air intake + heat shield. All the OEM parts are un-molested as im making a note not to do any permanent changes atleast until I know I can afford to keep the car.

The car sounds WAY better.. atleast from the engine department. Also feels like it has a bit more go in it.
