so after lunch with mum on mothers day, i decide to go fix my water meth kit, so while testing if its working, my bud and i test drive to see.

i see a catherham on oposite side of road giving it stick so i do U turn and try catch, meet him at robot and he knows its on. 1st race uphill.

1st gear he opens me about a 2 car gap. into 2nd he opens a further car into 3rd i hold the gap and i cant close him. we both tap off and i come next to him with a thumbs up and me super impressed at his car. we turn onto another long stretch and have a rolling run,

1st gear i ran into limiter and he hops about 2 cars ahead. into 2nd i hold the gap, into 3rd i slowly close the gap (i heard him run into limiter ). into 4th i slowly creep next to him and just manage to edge him and stay there till we tap off.

im super impressed and even though i got him on 2nd run,. il still admit his car is faster, i rekon he woulda held the gap if he didnt limit.

what a fantastic sport , we stopped at robot and chatted he said, it costs about 500k for one, and it runs a ford N/A duratec 2.0lt racing motor.

so far its the quickest car ive ever ran,

Those cars are insane, especially for a N/A engine!!

buck for buck, car for car , I would still take the sx!!

@fuzz , super impressive for a N/A , but i agree fully 500k on a sx will make the caterham look like a toy.
