CA18 Lifters question

Post by Psyke »

I am rebuilding my CA18 head, and while I was disassembling the thing I knocked over 2 of the lifters  oil allover the place. Now I want to know if I need to rebuild the lifters, bleed them (if that is possible) or can I just put them back in the head ?

Any info would be appreciated.

if u knockd it over for a few seconds or minutes don't worry about it, if it was laying like that for hourse or days, bleed them.

+1

We did this with Tobys car worked like a charm but we did because he had a noisy lifter
