What a awesome experience!

Was my first time competing in a drag event, first time staging at the lights! I love it! Was so bloody nervous my leg was shaking I almost couldnt control the clutch! haha

First run was against a 300kw opel! Damn that thing hauls ass! I ran a 14.5! 2 things that contributed to that. One was that I was sleeping at the lights, didnt expect it to go over so quick! Secondly, TRACTION! I was spinning a hell of a lot! Track drags is way different than street! Grip levels are very very poor!

Second run was against a Escort (speed & Sound one). No idea what motor or what power. I ran a 14 flat. Bogged at the line this time, didnt give enough power of the line. Starting reeling him in from 2nd gear.

Third run was against Pantera in his white N/A Throttle-bodied corsa. I ran a 13.8 and him a 13.6 (him running semis). Bogged at the line again but allot less than the previous run! Great run Pantera, didnt have time to shake your hand after the race! Was good fun!

So three races and three loses, but Im happy! Was a great experience and really learned allot! Im just glad I could get my figures down so much from the first run. Shows there is some room to improve! Dammit gotta get these launches sorted and get some semi's at the back!

Conclusion, I can see why allot of people rather do illegal street racing, its allot easier! However going down that strip and the tyre warmup before the time! Nothing comes close!
