200Sti Vs 4AGE powered 1400 Bakkie

Post by Pinkfluffybunnys »

Had a very interesting run yesterday with a 4AGE powered 1400 Bakkie , The guy works close to my work so, I catch him on the highway sometimes the last time, I took him on was with the GA16DE and didn’t win that fight , Yesterday, I got a chance with the SR20, I caught him on the highway and we had one or two 4th gear runs but the guy takes my turn off so , I stopped next to him at the queue for the robot and let down my window and chatted a little about the car and stuff, he says the car is stock but you can see it has a full exhaust system and hear it has a Filter

So we let the robot catch us and the race is on…

Launch – I launch the 200STI a bit too hard wheel spinning into the yellow lane on the left, the bakkie takes it by a nose
1st Gear - I stop the gap and start closing it
2nd Gear – I start opening on the bakkie around a car length
3rd Gear – I’m about 2 car lengths ahead and opening

It then tapped off at 130Km\H , Gave the guy a hazard he said thanks and was on my way.
