Hi Guys...
I was looking at my fuel maps last night and started crunching the numbers to get my estimated power with the new cams by the fuel being used and the estimated B.S.F.C and I must admit, I got a little depressed with the numbers because, I was hoping for more also, I was hoping to get over the 200rwkw number.
But after looking through all the info, I don’t think, I have done that bad with CA18DET according the Garrett the numbers I am getting are around correct for my Engine CC size, I do feel that maybe this calculation does give an underestimated number but I would rather say I make less then more.
Raising Rate Fuel Pressure
----------------------------
Current (no vacuum) Fuel pressure: 43.5 (3 Bar)
Boost Pressure: 16psi (1.1 Bar)
Injector size
-----------------
550CC at 43.5 Psi
643cc at 59.5 Psi
Drive train -loss
------------------
17% (estimated)
Fueling calculation
---------------------
4500 Rpm - 5500Rpm - 60% duty - 243 HP (181 Fwkw) - 150 RWkw (200Hp)
5500 Rpm - 6500Rpm - 65% duty - 269 HP (201 Fwkw) - 166 RwKw (223Hp)
6500 RPM - 7300Rpm - 70% duty - 284 HP (211 Fwkw) - 175 Rwkw (234Hp)
Turbo charger
------------------
Assumed: GT28RS Compressor wheel
Confirmed: .64 Exhaust housing
From Garrett
---------------------
GT28RS
Horsepower: 250hp - 360hp
Displacement 1.8L - 3.0L
Most CA18DET dyno in at around 100Rwkw Stock so I’m showing a 75% increase, I’m disappointed but at the same time, I don’t think its a bad gain and the knowledge getting here was priceless. I will get the car on a proper dyno this year some time so I can check the numbers and compare them to this but I don’t think they will be to far off.

Update:
---------------
I ordered a progressive water meth system from Rezlo should be arriving this month for the car.
The kit is more for reliablity and peace of mind as there is not much left in the current turbo.
My next planned mofifications are:
Super Spark Coils
DME Cooling Panel
Lightweight flywheel and clutch (10 pounds)

Found the problem with the SX...
Seems after, I raced my honda friend a few months ago, I split the intake again.
Going to remove it and have it rewelded
