Car came from japan so came with car was taken off due to owner not happy with after market goods on car and his wife did not enjoy the firm ride but condition is mint still

If you released the coils so that they are free lengths when fitted they will be "soft" At the moment the coils are all under tension and pre loaded.
Set them up correctly and they will give a very good ride.
