Thanks Nat! Agreed, original = reliability + decent fuel consumption. But the thought of 100kw more is tempting. Must resist!

Re: Mike's New Ride - Cape Town
I'm so glad to hear that... I often see beautiful straight cars been stripped out for drifting and after a season of abuse the cars are totally bent like a banana. It's so sad... It's the kinda thing you do with a City (pronounced Shitty) golf...
Has the car been repainted? I don't see any of the silver stickers on the hatch and lower valance above the bumper???

Re: Mike's New Ride - Cape Town
I'm not sure if it's been resprayed. Could be as the paint is in good condition and the car is 21 years old. There is an aftermarket sticker that says "Turbo" at the back which I would like to take off. Otherwise it says 200sx in the rear tail light cluster and also in the back seat windows.
I tried to find an original spray job of the 200sx on google images but no luck. Are you able to post one with the silver stickers in question?

Re: Mike's New Ride - Cape Town
I believe the original South African 200sx's had stickers at the back saying twin-cam turbo, in the same color as the striping on the side
Re: Picture of the Day., NO PIC NO POST
Yip, I see there are a few things that have been removed. I still have the wing, totally rotten with rust. I think it's a common problem on the 200sxEnzio wrote:Not stock.
Wing has been removed
Striping on sides is missing
Front lip is missing
But otherwise you can make it 100% stock again
