going from twin turbo to single

Post by Adrian »

Any of you guys done the swap before??
i want to know what you guys do with the oil feeds to the turbos
the jz has 2 lines from the block. would u block the 1 off or feed it to the return to sump line.
if doing the second option would you not get a slight drop in oil pressure?

just block the one off.. no point in feeding it to the return line.. besides the drop in pressure might not be so slight without the restriction of the turbo..

Ades ! You scare me brother !! Never feed an open pressurized supply back into the sump without it doing a critical operation.
Block it off at the block, careful that you don't impinge on the channel with the blanking plug. Locktite the plug.

*wipes the sweat from his brows..*
