Ja if the lifters are drained... Just drop them in some heated oil and squeeze them a couple of times so they can refill with fresh oil... Otherwise it takes a long long time for them to fill up again.
Like VC said, oil the parts after cleaning them... I bought a spray on oil like Q20 that helps a lot to protect them against rust.
But other than that it looks good.

the lifters will fill with air if drain the with a vice or what ever. like vlade said. I'll just soak'em in warm oil etc like he did in project d aswel.
all parts are coveres with toch of oil. that's no problem any more.
and its not my fault the engine is so dirty inside.
maybe I should have noticed earlier, but I have only done about 4000 kms in the car.
and for making it look good. the hoses are going to be a difrent colour...

i know its not your fault. apologies if that was implied.
i meant to stress that you must now take better care of it, because its being rebuilt!
in the engine bay looks department, i will post pics of mine, and have a good look at vlade's. we both had different ideas but they both look different.
whether they look good is a personal opinion...
all i know is that the faded pinkish red engine that i got was horrible looking to me!!!
