Today we put the starter back in after it mysteriously fell out during Super Drift and we also managed to finish fitting the new FG Front Fenders and Bumper... carved a a little Movember out of the bonnet for some more airflow... and tested the new colour - Grey here and there just to see. First thing in the morning its off to the Spray shop for his new look
Luckily i had carefully calculated most dimensions coz the 12j rears sit HELLA flush both inside and out... Its now sitting less than 3mm away from the FG wide rear fenders.. and less than 3mm away from the rear lower control arms. Luckily for tyre stretch coz if i hadnt been able to stretch the 265's onto the 12j's they absolutely would not have fitted any wider tyres. Although i guess you could play with camber to get more gap.
Dropped SX off this morning and the panel shop has already been hard at work.. taking shape.. still undecided between olive green or grey though...
Took a pic of the 12's after the wide FG rear panels were removed so you can see them stand proud in contrast to stock fenders.. and this is with the 12's a ballhair away from the inner body

well its kinda just sitting at the panel beaters.. dents sorted so far, now its waiting in line for priming... Next event is in 2.5 weeks... so im just hoping the panel beaters pull finger asap!
Dezzis new Ebisu styled drift circuit is looking MENTAL so either way its gonna be good seeing as ive also been 'promised' a drive in a pimped 34 ! weee
