Ray's old car....cant wait to see this car back in it's former glory.

Ray spent alot on that car with us and it is really a good S13. Full engine rebuild, full respray, fully poly bushed, shimmed diff, FMIC with custom piping, new turbo and so much more. That car drives so well and goes sideways like a dream!

Good to see it's staying within the club and the damage doesn't look too bad!

Good luck with the project!

Hey guys my name is Francois and i finally have a sx...
hahaha jip she quite fun to drive trying not to break her is the goal...
only problem i have had so far is the damn powersteering pump bearing and powersteering fluid thru the whole engine bay .. R50 later and she was fixed
The diff is very unforgiving in my opinion one moment its fine the next snap it kinda locks... still getting used to rwd since i hav'nt had a rwd car in 6 years...
back pain and kidney pain is what you get on hermanus roads...
but loving ever minute of it

@djtreble dont you a set of old tyres and rims you could rent to me on saterday?

Cool no problems bud, ps stay away from a bov....they are more trouble than they are worth and are only needed for bigger power.

Re: Project Frank The Tank! damn water pipes.....

Post by Frankthetank »

So today on my way back for work the sx decided to blow its turbo water pipe behind the engine
the 8 mm rubber one coming from the intake manifold :x :x
drove the car with the stuffed pipe for 4 kms before noticing somethings up..

towed the car back to the shop and replaced the pipe (what a mission) luckly no water in the oil no weird idling or funny stuff so i hope all is good dont need another car staning as mey caddy blew a headgasket last week...
