So after my ca ran a bearing last year, i started my project.
took a short while to get the motor fitted, and only recently got the management wired and car is running now.
I bought a rb25det from mikes
Bought a bellhousing from mikes too
mountings was fabbed
50mm stainless boost pipes,
fmic and bailey twin piston bov
Freddy chrome intake with 70mm Throttle body
MSX Management (megasquirt)
0 Gauge battery relocation to boot
76mm Stainless import exhaust with downpipe
At the moment i'm running with my stock ca18 gearbox and stock radiator, with 14" and 12" electric fans. Drove in high heat this past sunday and it was behaving nice. Need to get a bigger radiator still as i damaged mine while cutting the powersteering belt as the pump was very noisy think it gave in.
other than that, i expect the gearbox to last for a few months then i'll be changing it to a fatboy. but must say, nothing beats the sound an torque of this engine. It's rev limit is set on 5300 rom at the moment, untill i fit a warlbro this weekend, and dyno on the 28th of Feb.
A while before the ca18 gave in
On the way to fit management
Pic was taken just before the wiring started.

Ill rather shutup about my motor conversion, but well done! Let us know about the power!
Power is nothing without control,
Control is not fun without power.
Traction is over rated.
