My 200sx and the issues (Pics ADSL)

Post by Grobblere »

Hi Guys, I have created a new threat as to work on all the individual technical issues around my car and also added some pics so that i could update as we get stuff fixed as we go along. And should be a good guide for anyone also buying or wanting to fix up a 200sx.

since your car is white u can use a white grout pen(by plascon) to touch up the chips untill u can have it sprayed.most big hardware stores carry them .

Hi Guys

Just to get you updated. So i replaced the Fuel pump with a Bosch unit and set the cam timing.

The cam timing is definitely right, we checked the marks but the car seems to have even less power and shakes a bit...We did hook up a pressure gauge to the fuel line and i dont really think its the fuel pressure regulator.

What do you guys recon it migth be? how would i check if its the N/a cams in my car

So guys, atlast an update on my cab.

Had TSW 17" mags fixed, but they where not properly sealing and cracked after a few kilo's ,instead i replaced them with Enkei Ev5's with brand new tires.
Took the whole motor out, reconned the head and fixed a couple of other items like a bent exhaust manifold ans, replaced lifters, cam belt and some pulley bearings.
Also installed a SR20DET turbo on it, but in very low on boost.

Future plans.
320D inline fuel pump, Custom exh mani and T3/4 turbo with +-70mm exhaust....just to get things started :domo:
