Did you only remove wiring or other stuff as well? There is so much junk behind the dash as far as venting and tubing goes. I also see you had to cut the front leg to get the dash out. I'm just sold on the through dash setup. You want to be able to get in there if you have to. But with all of the venting removed I'm sure there will a lot more room once the dash is back in.

I have removed everything from behind dash, nothing left.

I am redoing the cage to proper FIA specs so current cage must come out anyway.

I only saw this post now. Do you have the latest regs for cages? Would love to have a read through to see how and what they spec'd.

Just google FIA Appendix J... The regs and drawings are there.

That cage is crazy. I thought mine was trick. The end result is way better than the preview pic's you sent...

How did you prep the inside for primer and paint? Particularly the portion behind the dash and front foot well. It's seems so smooth and shiny and you'll need to rough it a lot to get the paint to stick...

Sand, 2k MS primer and then 2K Paint.

Yeah the cage is very neat. Full tig welded.
