Project Robldepo (for now)

Post by robldepo »

Here is a short story about my sx.

I bought the car about 2 years ago from a guy who thought the engine was smoked ( I won’t make you jealous with the price)

Towed the car back to my house with half the engine lying in the boot. It took Armand (AR 200SX) all of 45min to get everything back in place and he started the car, poor thing sounded like a tractor running on 2 pistons and needless to say my hart fell to the ground, because I thought here come endless trouble.

After Armand did a few tweaks and replaced the AFM the car was purring like a kitten and I’ve been driving the car for the last 2 years without any hustle.

Upon returning from the rock raceway one night doing about 130km/h on the freeway and praying we don’t die, Armand told me he is going to lower the boost to 0.3bar and the boost is not to be touched until the suspension is sorted out on the car (thanks Armand for looking out for my safety I’m too much of a loose cannon to think about that.). About 3 months ago I bought my sr20det motor and decided to sell the ca18det.

Now with the ca out of the way and all the suspension parts I got the fun can start (thanks to Rezlo and Armand for helping me get the parts)
