Just another S13

Post by Gizmo »

Hey peeps

Bought myself a s13 non runner about 2 months ago... Bottom end is poked so selling most of the CA18 goods off and aiming for a SR20. Chassis is straight, interior is in good condition.

Im currently stuck in the engine bay, need to still source a SR20DET and box to fit in.

How she was collected

Image

And what was found in the motor

Image

I started in the engine bay first as it had several scratches and brackets, holes that I wanted to change..

Image

What I have done till now is strip, prep and paint.

Thanks Peeps

@Tony, She is going to be a all-rounder toy... Not a daily so aiming for a 3071R and around 350-400whp should suffice :D .

I have put a little bit of time into my gauge pod which just needs a coat of paint now. My Motor, box and management are on their way too

Looking good.
Just a suggestion, if you do not have a thermostat for the oil cooler, get one. When I hade the vg in my sx I had basically the same size cooler in the same location and oil temp was fine till I drove in the rain the one time, oil temp dropped to 35 degrees.

Thanks Charl

I will definitely look into that and see what my oil temps do..
