Hey guys after the whole sr20det builds effort i sold it :facepalm: .

Iv decided to come over to the dark side bought myself a rb25det, has the following mods.
Topmount exhaust manifold
External excell 38mm wastegate
Cometic head gasket
Screamer pipe
ARP head bolts
Ceramic coted turbo exhaust housing and manifold
T3/T4 turbo
270kw on 1bar

Going to take some time to put in as im going away for work for two months but when i come its going in but with some changes aswell like the oil return is not to good looks like back yard job, futher more what you guys think of the motor?

Very lekka bud ! You will enjoy that RB..
Dump that manifold now already..same as I had, cracked three times in two months. What a mission to get off and fix everytime. I went std. cast modded for external w/gate. No more hassles..

nice looking engine,
ive never driven any car with any engine that makes me feel like the RB does,
what made you decide to go RB instead of build your sr20 further if i may ask?
can make strong sr with the money being spent on the RB conversion, and im not trying to start one of those debates, just stating
i love the RB btw

i like the black valve covers

I heard about that but not to sure on how to do it, is it a kit you buy, sorry guys im a sr20det guy so know nothing really on rb.

Hey man i cant wait to fit and drive this dam thing all my budys that own s13 200sx have rbs and i spent a heep of cash on the sr and only did 220kw and you cant push sr past the 260kw mark and being reliable, iv always wanted to one day get rb and waited till a good deal came by and it did, a deal to good to be true but thats why i went rb, hey did you sell your car to a guy in cpt?

congrats on your good deal,
yes sold my car to someone in cape town, also saw it up on the gum for sale a couple times with a different/new mod here and there,

Yep thought so the guy i bought my motor from has your car lol its a budy of mine he just bought a neo rb now, i thought his dump valve and radiator and basicly the hole motor looked the same must say car is very neat still.

Yup, go check out project Greenstone.
I did it there with pictures when I fitted the neo.
Cannot remember which page though..

Hey bud i cant seem to find it but i see the oil drain kit looks simple to make up just piece of billet aluminuim and machine it to fit were the welsh plug goes at the back of the head?
