Stock is 4"x 6", but you can fit 5 1/4", 6.5" and 6" x 9" with a bit of modding.

You will need to make a mdf mount plate , but yes the hole is big enough. Ive got a template somewhere for it but you can just cut it the fit inside the door and then mount the speaker from outside.

Thanks man, I'm aware that I will need to make an MDF mount first, just wanted to know if there was enough space in the actual door.

Thanks

As per my own experience, as long as you keep it outside the door you are safe, If inside you wont have to cut metal but you might mess up your really difficult to find windows. The 4X6 brackets will need to be removed though either way. Everytime I open winds either terminals get ripped off or my door pannel pops off... Custom more fun anyway.

Its depend on the player also that which type of player will be used in your car. Whether its a radio or CD player or DVD player. You can use rear deck speakers. They are 6 1/2's and for power purpose a 4 channel amp to power them. You can also buy complete set of speaker from ebay which costs $1200 which contains 2 speakers and other needed accessories.

Certain 6" will fit. Stock spacer needs to be removed and custom mdf etc needs to be fabricated. If ur using at the minimum 6mm mdf , the speaker mounting depth shouldnt be more than 65/70mm. Also, countersink spacer to accommodate speaker as the stock 6x4 cutout on the door card will get in the way.
