This is just a stab in the dark but maybe one of the bolts is missing a washer or its worn.

Yeah what Draco said is spot on. NEVER get rid of your original parts cos finding a replacement without it wil be a headache

I guess 95 octane is the way forward then cos I've been using 93 octane (previous owners advice) and things weren't going smoothly

jst get a new one made, u only need the pressure plate and you can get a clutch built from that. I've been trying to get a clutch now for a few weeks, its the biggest headache ever. I dont have my original pressure plate so I've got no choice but to find an original clutch
