1991 200SX for Sale

Hi Guys, It is with deep sadness and a lot of deliberation that I have decided to sell my car. I am working out of the country and only come home for a few weeks at a time. I don't get a chance to use it. It needs some minor attention. It is very drivable. I have some spares to go with as well. Whit...

K&N

Guys, I have a K&N cone filter which I used for one weeks driving (~100km), the cleaning chemicals (new), the adapter and a hand-made bracket (needs painting/chroming) that I am not using. Everything cost me ~R600.00. Any takers, any offers welcome. Sorry for posting here.

Gaskets

Thanks buddy, will call you. The Wrankler with the spares went underground, deep, deep, deep. Hey Windows...maybe two sx's is two, too many for this small town buddy. Actually there are a few running around...maybe there are others but they are just resting somewhere. You know what it's like with wi...

Exh. Manifold Gaskets

Gary, do you know of a place in Durban where I may be able to buy some decent exhaust manifold gaskets for my car (CA18DET)? I think that the ones that I installed are the ones that don't work well. Less than 5000km and they're blown. Thanks in advance.

Sorry buddy...I would be very sad (pissed off) as well. I have been following your progress on the engine like following a gripping soapy. I even got some great tips regarding the braided hoses as well...thanks again. So in return I wouldn't mind taking the T25 off your hands. Hopefully, there are n...

Durbs disaster

Hey Max, No problem buddy. I was relieved when I got your SMS when you arrived safely. Medium-Large whisky and off to bed for me. Just for the benefit of the guys that are interested, I managed to get a "GMB" made in Japan, pump for the CA18DE (FWD) and it cost ~R186. THe other pumps that ...

Gary, R400 I think is a good price. I know that you have a cone filter at the moment and it works...Does the heat not affect it? I mean do you feel a difference between when the engine is cold and when it's hot? How does one keep it away from heat inside the engine bay? I wonder if there is some sor...

K & N Cone Filter

Anyone has any input regarding using cone filters. I bought a K & N cone filter as recommended by the man in the shop c/w adapter and servicing kit. I made a special bracket to mount it and sorted out a new home for the dropping resistor. A good afternoons work. I took the car for a spin and it ...

With the short shifter the position of the pivot point is raised thus giving you less leverage at the top to make the same travel below the pivot point. In the old Escort 1600 Sport & RS2000 they added a distance piece to achieve this, which gave a very nice feel when changing gears. Windows is ...

Gear Knob

Guys, Is there a trick in removing the gear knob on the S13? I tried to twist it off using some good force but it won't budge. The whole lever is starting to twist...I stopped just in case I happen to break something. Anyone??

Based on the two "boffins" that had a go at installing, wiring-up and tuning the piggy-back on my car, I reckon I should have rather trusted a monkey or two...literally. I have decided to drive my car up to JHB and have it done properly.
